Pro Physio is a physiotherapy clinic run by Sarah Kennedy, based at 33 Kerikeri Road, Kerikeri.

We  provide treatment for pain, injury and discomfort of a wide range of muscles and joints, neurological injury and disease.

Sarah graduated from Kings College London University in 1999 and has experience from a wide variety of hospital and community settings working in both the UK and New Zealand.

Sarah has been running her own clinic since August 2013 with an emphasis on giving generous and effective treatment times to prevent recurrent injury. Sarah also specialises in rehabilitation from Concussion and Head Injury in the community.
Sarah began working for Bay of Islands Riding for Disabled in 2012 which is proving a unique and enjoyable challenge.

Clinic times are Wednesday and Friday’s. Same day /next day appointments are often available and no doctor’s referral is required.
We are ACC registered.

If you need treatment for injury or pain related to an accident then you will be covered by ACC (co-payments apply, listed below). If you can not trace your injury or pain back to a specific accident then you will be a private client (rates listed below).

Prices

  • ACC Assessment/ Consultation (45mins): $15 co-payment
  • Private Consultation (45mins): $60

 

  1. Hi,

    I had a stroke recently. Do you do work rehabilitation? Do you know how I get funding for this?

    • Hi Karen,

      Yes I have a lot of experience in rehabilitation post stroke.
      If your stroke is the result of an accident it will usually be covered by ACC and we can get funding. Otherwise The Ministry of Health fund physiotherapy directly from Physiotherapist at Bay of islands Hospital, your GP should be able to assist with a referral for this.
      Unfortunately any further treatment will need to be funded privately, you would be able to check this with The Stroke Foundation.
